From my audience feedback I have learnt that the combination of my print products is effective as they are familiar for the audience and can be easily recognised. My target audience like the colour scheme and housestyle of my final print products as they are a good indicator of the action thriller genre. The first bit of audience feedback I got was to identify the gender of my target audience and to conduct research into what their favourite genre of film is. This influenced the decision making process of my coursework as I found out that the majority of my audience preferred action films and that a lot of them tend to watch films in their free time too. I also asked for their feedback on the plot for my film, but they wanted to know more about what happened to the girl who gets kidnapped. When it came to plotting my final trailer, I made sure that there was more detail surrounding the girl who is taken, by involving the addition of a ransom fee to get her back. They all said that my plot fit in with the action thriller genre and that they would go and see it when it came out. Overall, from this feedback I learnt what my audience wanted to gain from my film and so I made sure that I delivered this through my final products.
I also asked for audience feedback on my film logo and production logo ideas. I found which 'Thrilling Productions' logo my audience preferred and therefore used this as an inter title when creating my final theatrical trailer. I also found out which 'Ransom' logo my audience preferred and did initially take this feedback forward, but when I was improving my final products I opted for a font that stood out more and made sure that this was consistent throughout my print products.
I also gained more audience feedback on my final products, so that I could find out if I had met the audience needs and gave them what they wanted from the print products and trailer for an action thriller film.
The significant audience feedback I received on my final products is to make the text on some of my print products stand out more, so that they are easier for the audience to read.
